Cozy up to a warm mug of this easy golden milk latte! It actually takes only a couple of minutes to throw together & makes for a perfect warm drink any time of the day!

Make a caffeine-free easy golden milk latte
If you’re like me & tend to be a bit caffeine sensitive but still love a warm drink after that first cup of Joe, this is just what you need. We don’t use any coffee or tea in this recipe because the star of the show is ground turmeric. We make it extra warm & cozy with some beautiful spices & add-in’s.
I have been having this in the late morning or early afternoon when I start craving that second cup of coffee & it really does the trick. I find I just love the habit of having a warm drink to sip on while I work. Plus the flavours in this drink are just so comforting, it is bound to be a hit!
Make it a Bulletproof easy golden milk latte
I used to love Bulletproof coffee. I did mine a little differently by blending only 1/2-1 tsp coconut oil into my coffee (as opposed to 1-2 tbsp). It would make it so creamy & delicious! I still love doing it from time to time. You can easily make this recipe Bulletproof by adding 1-2 tsp coconut oil, coconut butter or ghee into the mix!
Make it dairy-free
This recipe is naturally dairy-free since I used water & unsweetened cashew milk. You could use any nut or seed milk of choice or even full-fat coconut milk. I give a Bulletproof option in the recipe as well. For that version just make sure you use coconut oil or coconut butter instead of ghee for a 100% dairy-free option.

Ingredients you will need:
- Milk of choice (make sure it is a nut, seed or coconut milk for a dairy-free option)
- Turmeric
- Cinnamon
- Ground ginger
- Cloves &/or nutmeg (optional)
- Black pepper (you just need a pinch to make the turmeric more bioavailable)
- Collagen peptides, optional
- Honey or maple syrup (for a low-carb/keto option you can use stevia or monk fruit)
- Vanilla extract
- Coconut oil, coconut butter (aka manna) or ghee, for the Bulletproof option
How to make this easy golden milk latte
- Over low-medium heat in a medium sized pot add all of the ingredients except the sweetener & collagen peptides.
- Warm for a few minutes until the mixture is simmering. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat & let cool for a few minutes & then add to a blender. Note: you can blend everything first if you are worried about putting warm liquid in your blender.*
- Blend for about 30 seconds until smooth & creamy, adding the collagen & sweetener at the end.
- Serve with a bit of extra cinnamon & enjoy in your favourite mug!
Make a double batch & have it throughout the week
This recipe makes 1-2 servings but I like to whip up a double batch & store it in a mason jar in the fridge. When I want to enjoy a fresh mug I will heat up a cupful on the stovetop until nice & warm. I may give it a quick blend as well just to make it nice & frothed. You can also try frothing it as well.
Ice, ice baby
Try making it iced! If you prep a batch for the week, simply pour a serving into your favourite ice-filled glass & enjoy an iced caffeine-free beverage any day throughout the week!
