These no bake peanut butter chocolate crunch bars only require 5 ingredients, and can be made gluten-free & vegan! They are the perfect treat with healthy fats, protein (if using) & the best chocolate peanut butter flavour without any refined sugar!

This recipe was inspired by a super old recipe & one of the first from my blog which you can find here. I wanted to give it a little revamp & change some things around & holy, if you are a fellow chocolate & peanut butter lover like me, you’re going to want to try this one ASAP!
How to make these No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch Bars vegan
It is super simple, omit the collagen! This recipe works great with or without it. I don’t recommend using protein powder in place of the collagen as it could change the overall flavour of the bars. Feel free to experiment if you wish & definitely let me know how they turn out if you do try it with a certain protein powder!

How to make these No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch Bars Gluten-Free
You are going to want to make sure you’re using a certified gluten-free cereal if you wish to keep these gluten-free. I used a brown rice cereal which resemble rice crispies & it worked great. You can also make them with gluten-free Chex or gluten-free Cheerios. Definitely let me know if you get creative & what cereal you use in these bars!
Mix it up the ingredients
Like I mentioned above, get creative with the cereal you use in this recipe. Most will work & offer a slightly different texture & flavour profile.
You can also try using different nut or seed butters. If you want to try making them nut-free you can try sunflower seed butter. I think these would also be great with almond or cashew butter as well! If you try any different combos out, be sure to leave a comment & let me know how it turned out!
How to store these No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch Bars
I like to store these in the fridge or the freezer in an air-sealed container or re-usable bag like a Stasher bag. If you store them in the freezer they will last longer, however you may need to take them out a few minutes before you enjoy them depending on how cold your freezer is & how hard the bars get.

Ingredients you will need:
- all-natural creamy peanut butter
- maple syrup
- coconut oil
- chocolate chips (I like these for dairy-free & these for sugar-free)
- collagen (optional, omit for vegan)
- Flaky salt to taste on top (optional)
- cereal of choice, I used gluten-free brown rice cereal
Let’s make them!
You are going to start by melting the peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil & chocolate chips over low heat on the stovetop.
Mix in the collagen if you’re using it & your cereal of choice & then allow the mixture to firm up in the freezer.
The final product is a deliciously fudgey yet crunchy texture from the cereal & each bite is bursting with a rich chocolate flavour as well!

Description
These no bake peanut butter chocolate crunch bars only require 5 ingredients, and can be made gluten-free & vegan! They are the perfect treat with healthy fats, protein (if using) & the best chocolate peanut butter flavour without any refined sugar!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-natural creamy peanut butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I like these for dairy-free & these for sugar-free)
- 1/4 cup collagen (optional, omit for vegan)
- Flaky salt to taste on top (optional)
- 1–2 cups of cereal of choice, I used gluten-free brown rice cereal (see note*)
Instructions
- Over low heat in a saucepan melt the peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil & chocolate chips until smooth.
- Remove from the heat & mix in the collagen (if using) & cereal of choice, starting with 1 cup. You want most of the liquid to be absorbed, continue to add 1/4 cup of cereal if needed until this is achieved.
- Line a square baking pan or dish with parchment paper & spread the mixture into the pan. Top with flaky sea (if using) & an extra drizzle of melted peanut butter if desired.
- Place in the freezer for 4-6 hours or until firm.
- Let come to room temperature slightly, cut into bars & store in the fridge or freezer, enjoy!
Notes
*Start by adding 1 cup of cereal that you are using, mixing well. You want to add enough so that most of the liquid is covered on the cereal. If one cup isn’t enough add 1/4 cup until you reach your desired consistency.
